Session 1:  Diabetes and Covid 19

Because of their blood glucose levels fluctuating, people with diabetes appear to be more susceptible to severe sickness from SARS COVID-19. Due to consequences such as a compromised immune system and an increase in infection in blood glucose, treating viral infections in diabetes individuals is tough.

Session 02:  Diabetes mellitus type 1

Diabetes mellitus type 1 (commonly known as type 1 diabetes) is a kind of diabetes in which the immune system destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Glucose levels in the blood and urine become inflated as a result of a lack of insulin. The symptoms include normal pee, distended appetite, distended yearning, and weight loss. It's unclear where DM type one came from.

Session 03: Diabetes mellitus type 2

Type 2 diabetes is a long-term metabolic condition marked by high blood sugar levels, insulin resistance, and insulin deficiency. Increased thirst, excessive peeing, and unexpected weight loss are some of the most common side effects. Possible symptoms include a bloated appetite, exhaustion, and bruises that do not heal. The majority of indicators are progressive. Cardiovascular illness, strokes, diabetic retinopathy, which can cause vision loss, kidney failure, and inadequate blood flow in the appendages, which may necessitate appendectomy, are all long-term effects of high glucose levels. It's possible that a hyperosmolar hyperglycaemic state would develop suddenly; in any event, ketoacidosis is unheard of.

Anti-obesity and weight-loss drugs are pharmacological agents that aid in weight loss and maintenance. By affecting appetite or calorie absorption, these drugs affect one of the body's most fundamental functions: weight control. For overweight and obese persons, diet and physical exercise remain the cornerstones of treatment. This reaction was likely useful to our progenitors when food was scarce because the human body uses a range of chemicals and hormones to conserve fat reserves. Long-term weight loss with little adverse effects will be the consequence of the ultimate anti-obesity treatment.

Session 16: Endocrinology

Endocrinology is a field of medicine that deals with the endocrine system, its disorders, hormones, and its unique secretions. It is also concerned with the incorporation of developmental events proliferation, progression, and differentiation, and the psychological or behavioral behaviors of metabolism, growth and development, tissue activity, sleep, digestion, respiration, excretion, mood, stress, hormone-caused lactation, motion, reproduction, and sensory perception. The endocrine system consists of multiple glands that secrete hormones directly into the blood rather than into a duct system, all in separate areas of the body. Endocrine glands are, thus, known as ductless glands.

Diabetes mellitus is commonly known as diabetes, is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. Acute complications can include diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state, or death.  Serious long-term complications include cardiovascular disease, stroke, chronic kidney disease, foot ulcers, and damage to the eyes. Diabetes is due to either the pancreas not producing enough insulin, or the cells of the body not responding properly to the insulin produced.

Herbal medicine, also called botanical medicine or phytomedicine, refers to the use for medicinal purposes of a plant's seeds, fruit, stems, leaves, bark, or bulbs. The formulations of herbs are preferred due to lesser side effects and low cost. A catalog of medicinal plants used in the treatment of diabetes is compiled with proven antidiabetic medications and their beneficial effects and herbal medicines. There are staggering costs of treatment for diabetes and its associated complications. For example, in 2013 it was reported that over 382 million people in the world have diabetes.

Session 20: Genetics of Diabetes

A heterogeneous group of diseases characterized by chronic hyperglycemia is diabetes mellitus. Type 1 diabetes (T1D, historically known as insulin-based diabetes or IDDM) and type 2 diabetes are the two most prevalent types of diabetes (T2D, previously known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or NIDDM). Both are caused by a mixture of risk factors that are genetic and environmental. There is Other rare types of diabetes that are specifically hereditary are available. This includes diabetes at the start of puberty in the young (MODY) and diabetes due to mitochondrial DNA mutations. A greater probability of acquiring T1D than the general population of unrelated persons (approximately 6 percent vs. <1 percent). The genetic variables are related to the progression of the disease. Currently, there is evidence that genetic susceptibility to T1D may include more than 20 regions of the genome. T2D is inherited, in part. Family tests have found that first-degree relatives of persons with T2D are around 3 times more likely than those without a positive family history of the condition to inherit the disease.

Our experts are keeping a careful eye on how the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting markets and client purchasing behaviours as it travels throughout the world. As a result, the global pandemic's repercussions will be fully reflected in our most recent estimations and analysis of current market dynamics and forecasts. In the year 2020, the diabetes market will be worth almost USD 1,957 million. Between 2021 and 2026, the market is predicted to increase at a CAGR of 16.5 percent, reaching a value of around USD 4,892.7 million.

Obesity rates are on the rise, stress levels are on the rise, and there is a global lack of regular exercise, all of which are pushing the diabetes industry. The government is aiding the business by extending strategies and programmes aimed at reducing the harm caused by the rising number of diabetes cases. The government is addressing the problem by giving diabetics with free insulin and care at government facilities. Applications and Properties

Diabetes is a chronic disease characterised by sugar increases in the body as a result of insufficient insulin output or response. Diabetes inhibits the body's ability to digest sugar in diet, create enough insulin, and efficiently utilise insulin.
